Temple Trip

At the end of July we went to the Oquirrh temple open house, which was Kirsten's first trip to a temple at only 4 weeks old! Our favorite part was looking at in the sealing room mirrors as a family and seeing it go on forever. Coming in next to the coolest experience was seeing Russel M. Nelson while we were eating cookies and then getting to shake his hand.

Kirsten- Our Little Bundle of Joy!

Our baby girl finally made it to this world July 9th at 3:52 am. She was a nice big healthy baby at 8 lbs 13 oz and 21inches long. I was in labor for 10 1/2 hours. We are so excited to have her here. Her skills include burping, pooping, hiccuping, eating and sleeping. Luckily for us she is a very content baby and rarely cries (for now). She definitely has the Schmidt nose and feet. We love all of her cute baby noises and she loves tummy time with Daddy.

Nesting and Cravings!

I figured it was about time to update how the baby is coming along, I am now 8 1/2 months pregnant. She is getting pretty big and pushing out my turkey timer. I have also been nesting this past week and made bumpers and a ruffle for the baby's bassinet. Will has been having the cravings though so we made some chocolate chip cookie's from a recipe Laurie gave us and they were super delicious. Thanks Laurie!

Graduation

We graduated from Brigham Young University April 23rd and am so happy to be done. We did all the traditional things like taking our picture next to the cougar and BYU signs and we even walked together for commencement. Will graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Systems and Alina graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology. Congrats to us!
